BD-72 from "The Book of Boba Fett"

Hello everyone!
Here a 3D project representing BD-72, the droid featured in Episode 5 of "The Book of Boba Fett," and influenced by my experience with BD-1 in the "Jedi: Fallen Order" game. I decided to put my modeling and texturing skills to the test through this challenge.

During the modelling phase, I worked diligently to replicate every detail of BD-72, trying to capture the essence of the character. Every component, from structures to surfaces, was meticulously modelled to ensure maximum fidelity to the original reference.

The most exciting part was the texturing, where I tried to faithfully recreate the textures and materials that define BD-72. I focused on details such as scratches, wear marks and reflections to make the virtual droid as realistic as possible.

Beyond the technical challenge, this project had a personal meaning for me. It was a way to express my passion for 3D and science fiction and pay homage to characters that fascinated me. The end result reflects my dedication to bringing a film and video game icon to life through my 3D work.
