Hi everyone!
I'm glad to introduce my new personal project, where I took care of modeling, sculpting, texturing, shading, rendering, and post-production.
In this artwork named "Rise of the Emperor", I tried to give new life to maybe one of the most iconic villain in the Dragonball anime universe: Lord Freezer.
I've always been fascinated by evil characters, especially in anime contest, so I chose to represent this character in a more realistic way, trying to imagine how he can appear in real life .
Technically speaking, the main point to solve for me was to create a final result with a good amount of resolution, capable to withstand to close ups shots without looking weird, even using a single UV tile (since this character is made for real time rendering). To do so, I've split the character in 5 UV set, in order push out as much detail as possible.
For me, this project is the first one using a real-time workflow, and working on it, I've been able to better understand how real time works, so I can say that I'm very satisfied of both the final result and the new skills aknowledged.
